The tower is being developed by the Double Two Development Company, a joint venture between the Egyptian government and the Saudi Arabian Al-Tamimi Group. The tower is designed by the renowned architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), which has designed some of the world's most iconic buildings, including the Burj Khalifa in Dubai and the One World Trade Center in New York City.
The Double Two Tower will be 385 meters tall, making it one of the tallest buildings in Africa. It will have 90 floors, with the first 20 floors dedicated to retail spaces and offices, and the remaining floors housing luxury apartments. The tower will also have a five-star hotel, a spa, and a rooftop restaurant with panoramic views of the city.
The tower's design is inspired by the lotus flower, a symbol of rebirth and regeneration in Egyptian culture. The tower's facade will be covered in a pattern of triangular panels that will create a shimmering effect in the
